Esprit overhauls Europe's e-commerce portal
Esprit Holdings Limited has announced the launch in January of its updated e-commerce portage across Europe, which retails clothes, boots, accessories and houseware under its Esprit name. The Hong Kong-based company has spent around € 40 million to redesign its website to make it more customer-centric.
The company has collaborated with the Salesforce customer relationship management company to exploit the potential of artificial intelligence. This will improve the consumer engagement with regard to having extensive filters, such as sustainability and health, and more suitable design ideas that suit their individual requirements.
In spring or early summer the new website is ready to be launched in Austria, while the German version will be published in summer.
Leif Erichson, Chief Digital and Operations Officer at Esprit said “Part of our digital strategy is to build a site that continues to grow and delight our customers with our brand stories, and great product expression.”
Next year, other European countries will follow suit.
