Guess Inc. announced the closure of all its U.S. and Canadian retail stores beginning on March 17–another company that could not avoid the wrath of the deadly Coronavirus. The fashion brand's stores will remain shut until March 27.

Retailers have briefly shut down their Guess-operated stores in a number of European countries, while Guess-operated stores in Asia were reopened.

The company "Guess" also took other significant steps recommended by the government and health organization, including encouraging workers to operate remotely.

CEO of Guess - Carlos Alberini, said “During these extraordinary times, the health, safety and well-being of the Guess community is our most important priority. Keeping this in mind, we will continue to be flexible so as to adapt to this fast changing situation.”
