Shipping bill:

Cart ticket:

The cart ticket is like the vehicle and gate pass prepared by the exporter and provided to the vehicle driver carrying the cargo. The vehicle is allowed to pass the gate after verification of the document by the gatekeeper or officials or inspector. It is also known as “cart chit”.

It carries the details of

  1. shipper’s details 

  2. port of destination

  3. shipping bill number

  4. Number of vehicle carrying the cargo

  5. Number of packages.

 

Certificate of measurement:

On basis of weight and volume, the freight for the cargo is charged and the calculation of freight is done by using certification of measurement. It carries the details of:

  1. Name of the vessel

  2. Description of goods

  3. Port of shipment and destination

  4. Quality

  5. Length and weight of the package & so on.

 

Bill of lading:
