Final inspection procedure:

The final inspection is done before the shipment of goods. The garments are checked randomly from the carton box to verify the quality parameter.

The quality parameter will be based on the AQL (Acceptable quality level) standard. The AQL standard is checked and calculated by the buyer’s inspection agency or buying office QC or the exporter QC.

If the AQL level not meets the quality standard, the exporter has to resubmit the goods for inspection after the reconstruction of the garment. Sometimes the goods will be canceled or rejected by the buyer if it not meets the buyer’s expected quality.

 Types of final Inspection:

  1. Self-final inspection

  2. Second party final inspection

  3. Third party final inspection

Self final inspection:

If the buyer has much confidence in the quality control procedures of the manufacturer or the buyer may be doing business with the exporter for the long term.

Self-final inspection is done by the exporter itself and it happens very rarely (Really rare).

Second party final inspection:

The second party final inspection is done by QC of the buyer or buying house.

This method is commonly practiced in all exporting units.

Third party final inspection:

The third-party final inspection will be conducted by the QC of an inspection agency and the inspection agency is nominated by the buyer.
